Very beautiful and very decorative piece, created in America by The Badger Brass Mfg Co., back in the 1903. This is one of the earliest kerosene lamps designed to be attached to the early motor cars and old carriages. This is an antique Solar model 41-A carriage brass lamp-lantern from the turn of the 20th century. This antique lantern lit the dirt roads for horse carriages and early automobiles. This lantern has a regal shape to it. The round handle add a nice design element. Once fueled by gas work as a traditional lamp.
