Vintage Design
This extremely rare chromed version of the Panthella floor light was designed by Danish designer Verner Panton and manufactured by Louis Poulsen. It retains the original ‘Poulsen’ mark on the base. The shape is often described as ‘mushroom-like’, however, it is more precisely inspired by the mushroom-cloud after a nuclear explosion. This is a 1970s design icon.
