Antique Collection of English Hand-Beaded Ladies Footstools or Ottoman’s from the late Victorian period. The Beaded Needlework is still In remarkably good condition considering they are over 125-years old. Beaded Needlepoint Footstools were items that were Beaded by wealthy English ladies of the home having enough staff for doing regular house duties, while they did their needlepoint and beadwork. This was a type of accepted folk art such as china painting, petit-point, and the likes.
**Measurements provided are for the eggplant colored footstool. The beige one is 4.5″ high with a 10.5″ diameter and the blue one is 3″ high with 10.25″ diameter.
