English high style, Chippendale armchair in Mahogany. Circa 1760. The strap back is topped by a serpentine outlined crest, having leafage drapery and beading at the edge. Dramatically curved arms terminate in carved scrolls. Wonderful older finish and patina. Made of substantial, heavy timber.
