They have different but similar ornate patterns.

VICTORIAN GILT-INCISED AND EBONIZED PEDESTAL
Circa 1870
Item # 307XPP13L

This useful and tasteful Victorian period sculpture pedestal features an overall nearly black ebonized surface with gilded fluting around the column and base and repeating incised gilded designs. Probably English, circa 1860-80.

Measurements: 38 5/8″ H x 11 7/8″ diameter

Condition Report:
Light rippling to the top from shrinkage/expansion of the grain over time; shrinkage cracks along the pedestal throughout; finish wear, chipping, discoloration and use indicators throughout; sturdy and strong.

19th Century Satyr and Laurel Decorative Sundial Column

A splendid decorative column, profuse with Satyr masks, laurel and vines. Would have had an iron sundial on the top, this has been lost over time, but could be easily replaced. An absolutely stunning composite column, with flashes of green, reds and brown throughout. The incredible detailing in the masks and foliage is outstanding, making this a highly desirable piece for any space.
