Amazing early example of A. Brandt Ranch Oak furniture, probably from 1940s. The furniture line began in 1938. This is in the darker “acorn” finish offered by Brandt as an alternative to their well known light finish highlighted with white wax.

97″ with the leaves extended, 66” wide without the leaves. Each pullout leaf is 15.5”.

German immigrant August Brandt established A. Brandt Company, Inc., in 1900, but it was August’s son Paul who engineered the Ranch Oak furniture line more than 30 years later. Paul Brandt served as company president for approximately 50 years. He passed away in 1999 at age 87.

Wonderful primitive antique painted maple farmhouse table having tongue in groove top with curved ends, all supported on early hand turned legs. Its original yellow milk paint is stunning! Use as a kitchen table, console table, or even a desk. Bought in Maine. #5931

One of 4 like pieces from Leon Rosen’s design work for Pace Collection in the 80s that I recently acquired from one estate. Thick, round, beveled glass top with room to seat 4, atop a large copper and black iron base.

This European beauty is large in size and character. This grand table features a large round top supported by six barley twist style legs connected by a rare rounded trestle base. The walnut top is beautiful and smooth contrasted by a more rustic-hand hewn base. They are the perfect marriage.

This table has so much style its uses are truly endless. I’d love to see it in the center of a room, being appreciated for all its glory. Table seats 6 comfortably.

This table is installation ready.

It is the long stretcher and wide platform feet of the base that give this wonderful pine trestle table it’s country charm in addition to strength and stability.
The top reveals old scratches, cracks, stains, nicks, etc. which all add to the authentic vintage appeal of the dining table.
