19th century french large copper and glass lantern, circa 1880.
Here we offer a great opportunity to make a light for inside or into a garden feature. Copper dome top standing on top of the original glass bowl. Standing on a horseshoe like base. Hinged bottom door which would have be used for access to snuff or turn light out.
Metalwork offers opportunity for it to be mounted at the base, with a pole or to make a bespoke free standing base
Expected surface staining to metalwork and very minor dings.
