Salvaged from a church in Norfolk, this large antique plaster statue depicts St. Joseph holding the hand of a child believed to be a young Jesus. Dating from the late 1800s, this ecclesiastical statue is in good condition with only small losses and wear associated with age.
Standing at more than 1.2m tall, this impressive Saint Joseph statue was made at the hand of a talented 19th century craftsman. It portrays the bearded St. Joseph as he is often depicted, swathed in cloth with the bare-footed child Jesus at his side.
