This 1700’s bronze chandelier, in ancient times as ups and downs (see photo below the sphere), worked with candles, it was later modified and made electric with original E14 bulbs and wooden lamp holders from the early 1900’s.
The chandelier has five removable arms and decorative motifs and ten lights.
The bronze was cast using the technique of casting on the ground, a classic process, due to the fact that the molten metal is poured into a mold composed of a special earth, called foundry earth, which at the end of the process will be broken to be able to extract it. the piece.
In the vast majority of cases the piece obtained will have to undergo further processing in order to be finished to obtain the characteristics of the desired product.
Note the imperfections caused by the casting.
