Brass and glass floor lamp of designer Paolo Venini (1895-1959), 1960s. The glass sphere presents the highly qualified technique of “filigrana”. The base is in brass. Paolo Venini (1895-1959) was an Italian designer and entrepreneur known for his important contributions to the world of artistic glass. He co -founded the famous glassware company, Venini & C. in Murano, Italy. Among the most famous designers who worked with Venini & C., we find Carlo Scarpa, Tobia Scarpa, Fulvio Bianconi and Gio Ponti.
