Vintage Design
Italian table lamp, desktop or “drop”, designed by Giotto Stoppino in 1976 and produced by Tronconi (Enrico Tronconi, editor). Glass opaline crystal body (frosted or Sanded Glass) in the form of a drop of water upside down, sustained in 4 chromed metal hemispherical legs. Of clean and rounded lines, it is a clear example of the Italian design of that time, where many of the designs evoked a space era (Space Age) in full boom. Stoppino also designed other luminaries of well -known houses such as Arteluce or Viewsi.
