Earl Swanigan Large Framed Painting of Unicorn and Fish

Unique and playful large canvas painting of a unicorn and fish couple by Hudson, NY artist Earl Swanigan (1964-2019). Swanigan, a self-taught artist, was a vibrant part of the Hudson scene. Extremely prolific, his paintings could be found in shops up and down Warren Street. His paintings were frequently anthropomorphic and funny. This is the best Earl painting I’ve seen. Would be delightful in a children’s room or a fun home.

Great condition. Chips on top left corner of frame which may have been original to the piece since Swanigan painted on found objects.
