A Windsor Captain’s chair, very delicately crafted and in very good condition with a fantastic patina. The design element on the armrests and backrest and the simple and delicate struts give the chair a very exclusive appearance. The chair, made of elm wood, has developed its patina over the years and acquired an extremely attractive honey-colored hue. The wood on the outer upper struts has been minimally repaired at the tips. All connections are solid.
The chair was probably made in England at the end of the 19th century.
