A mid-nineteenth century slipper chair by Howard & Sons, C.1850.
Raised on turned walnut forelegs and splayed rear legs, complete with original Cope Collinson brass castors, with the firms number stamp to the rear left leg.
Professionally and traditionally upholstered in a striking blue Howard and Sons cotton fabric, the exact specification of the original found on the chair, featuring a deep buttoned back rest.
With wonderful form and comfort, structurally very good.
