Vintage Klassependel pendant light in aluminum, glass and acrylic by Louis Poulsen. Designed in 1965 in Denmark, this light combines elegance and practicality with its design in premium quality materials. The literal translation of Klassependel is “classroom lamp”, which leads us to the conclusion that it was designed for academic environments. It consists of a main shade in gray lacquered aluminum with an acrylic light diffuser at the base. The design is completed by a white opaline glass sconce atop the main shade which diffuses light upwards.
