Vintage Design
These large, indestructible lights (48 cm in diameter) were hung in industrial buildings at an unreachable height in the GDR, for example, and so we are even more pleased to be able to offer you this hard-to-get light. Originally it had an extra-large lamp holder for bulbs up to 1000 W, we have converted it to a “normal” E27/E26 lamp holder for you. They were manufactured by LBD (Leuchtenbau Dresden/Germany).
The example offered here comes from an old carpenter’s shop in Berlin.
Nowadays, original old factory lamps give your home, shop or restaurant a rough and authentic, industrial charm.
This lamp has an authentic patina with a beautiful shine. We have cleaned it ready for you to live in and provided it with a new frame, new black textile cable and new chain so that you can use it immediately after receiving it.
