Late 19th Century New Scalamandre Le Tigre Velvet on Antique Rococo Style Giltwood Loveseat, Reupholstered Settee, Small Apartment Sofa

This mid-19th century Rococo / Louis XVI style giltwood settee came from a prominent Virginia estate and has been reimagined in the iconic Scalamandre Le Tigre silk velvet fabric.

The settee was completely stripped, cleaned and reassembled with new padding and upholstery.

The rectangular padded back with ribbon and medallion carved crest rail, padded arms and seat on turned tapering fluted legs with wooden casters.

Its petite proportions make it a perfect addition for a traditional sitting room, a small apartment or as an accent at the foot of the master bed.
