This is delighted to offer this stunning burgundy leather mahogany chair from Spencer House which was built for the Spencer family between 1756-1766 for John, the first Earl Spencer, currently resides Charles Spencer the 9th Earl Spencer
I have various pieces from the last Spencer house sale, which is still owned by Lady Diana Spencer’s family, the history of the items is that Lord Rothschild in the 1980s leased the property, at that time the house was restored, the pieces furnished the offices, meeting rooms and the newly restored State rooms. Included with each listing is a picture of the piece in situs
This chair is part of a small suite, I have a pair of visitors chairs, a single visitor chair and one carver office chair, this sale is for the piece mentioned above alone with the other pieces being listed under my other items
The chair has been deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished from top to bottom, there is wear and patina to the leather as you can see in the pictures, it has lightly perished and aged, please view the pictures
