Mid Century Modern Fred Roberts Japanese Aluminum and Wood Steak Platters – 6 Pieces

Spice up your fajita night with this trio of mid century heavy duty aluminum steak platters and their matching wooden charger serving plates. The aluminum oval platters with raised rims are meant to go straight from the oven to the table. The MCM shaped wooden chargers prevent heat damage to your table and have an indention on them so the aluminum plates stay in place. They are highly durable, easy to clean, and were built to last a lifetime. They are perfect for kebabs, fajitas, steak, or any items that are meant to be serving sizzling hot. These sets were extremely popular in the mid century era. The original metallic foil stickers can be found under two of the wooden trays. They read, “Fred Roberts Company San Francisco Made in Japan” which lets us know they were made in the 1960s-1970s.
