Vintage Design
Two rare wooden slat pendant lamps from Ellysett are based on a design by Hans-Agne Jakobsson from the late 50s.
Classics of Scandinavian design. The lamps not only provide a particularly atmospheric light but also show the character of a luminous object with its complex shape and special materiality. The actual shade consists of fine ring slats of wood veneer, which are arranged in 2 planes and overlap each other at a distance. The wood as a diffuser unfolds its effect in the on as well as of state. The attention to detail can be seen in the cable routing. The cable runs inside the wood and has an integrated strain relief via an exiting loop. The HAJ lettering is incorporated into the wood at the bottom edge.
