Murano Barbini Vintage Sommerso Blue Green Gold Flecks Base Italian Art Glass Fish Figurine Sculpture

Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso green to blue, and gold flecks Italian art glass fish sculpture on pedestal. Documented to Master glass artist and designer Alfredo Barbini, circa 1950-60s. Published in his catalog. The green color is more intense around the head and starts missing with blue up the body. It fades to clear up to the tail. The fish stands on a dome base filled with gold leaf inside. Would make a great display piece on any desk, dresser or side table. Mid-century era. It measures 7″ tall x 4 1/2″ long x 2 3/4″ wide at the base.
