Carter produced all manner of reading tables, chairs, couches, beds and bath chairs, many specifically aimed at wounded soldiers. Winning 20 gold medals and awards, Carter was maker to The Queen (Victoria), Prince of Wales and Emperors of Russia and Germany having gained a reputation for quality.
