Vintage Family Portrait Mural Sized Oil Painting on Board by c.x. Carlson

A mural size oil on board by famed Lancaster County artist C.X. Carlson 1902-1991 (Carlson Cultural Trust). Measures 74.5 inches long by 38.5 inches high. This painting of the Sheaffer family was done in 1959. The Sheafer family ran he largest egg production farm in Pennsylvania. Mr Crlson was a beloved artist in his time was tasked by the Borden Company to Create a logo which became Elie the Cow.
