18c French Country Armoire

Exceptional 18c french Country solid, extensively hand-carved oak 2 door armoire, in our family for decades-chosen out of 1000s of others that we’ve sold. This one amazes French people in our shop with it’s unique carved motifs, likely from the lower Normandie / Bretagne border,
Région of Saint-Lo border.

4 newer shelves (3 shown) over 2 drawers, original hidden bottom drawer also as pictured. We also have the more typical 18-19c French armoires available, this is an exception, a furniture museum piece (which French dealers use for a tax shelter) were it back in France. I can rave all day about this one, best to just have it in your home-our condo is too small now.

Perfect for an 8′ ceiling at 92.5″ high.

True color is the deeper browns in the carvings, the ‘golden’ hue is from the warehouse lighting.
