Contemporary Design
The Chemistry Series grew out of an exploration of the forms and proportions created by the traditional hand-blown glass techniques still used to produce glass in Vicenza, Italy.
Inspired by pieces of hail, Grandine is composed of three touching glass orbs, which are positioned to give the impression of balls of ice that have melted together to form one solid, transparent piece.
