Vintage Design
A pair of large vintage wall lights, made in Italy during the 60s and whose design recalls the production of historic Italian companies specialized in the production of glass furnishing accessories such as Veca and Cristal Art. The peculiarity of these appliques is in the splendid bevelled yellow glass. Originally there had to be 5 glasses for each applique but when we got hold of them there were 4 each. We decided to leave 3 glasses each to make them symmetrical and to keep the 2 additional pieces as spares in case of damage to the others. The glasses arranged in a radial pattern around a chromed metal structure look like lightning or rays of light. in addition to creating splendid light effects, the yellow “lightning bolts” create a splendid decorative wall element.
